Proposal for Final Project

My Proposal: I would like to kill two birds with one stone.

To teach how technology can aid in reference material for a business and help out my sister's business associates.

My sister is a floral designer and she works for a florist in New London, Illinois. The lady that she works for, Pauline, is in her eighties, her coworker is in her seventies and my sister is behind when it comes to technology. The floral shop has been having brides come in to talk about the flowers they want in their wedding. The brides want them to go on their Pinterest accounts and see what they have pinned, but know one knows how to do this. My sister had ask me about 6 months ago if I would come down and show them how to use it. (I have shown my sister already, but she does not remember.) I agreed to help, but have not gotten down there yet.

Using this final project would allow me to teach these ladies how to use Pinterest and leave them some printed material that they could refer to when they forget. I can show them how technology can connect them to a vast supply of floral images and allow them to build image references on their pin boards. Hopefully with three of them and the printed material they will use Pinterest often as a way to better serve their customer.
